Eliminative Therapies

Sometimes your body needs support to let go of toxins and burdens. With our eliminative therapies, we help you relieve your body, release blockages, and activate the body’s self-healing powers.

Eliminative therapies are advisable when:

  • You suffer from tension or pain.
  • You feel tired and exhausted.
  • You’d like to support your detoxification.
  • You suffer from colds or respiratory illnesses.
  • You’d like to stimulate your lymph flow, for example with swollen legs.

What are eliminative therapies?

Eliminative therapies are traditional methods that aim to free the body from harmful substances and congestion. They promote detoxification, stimulate lymph flow, and support the body’s natural regulatory mechanisms.

Our method: cupping

Cupping is one of the best-known eliminative therapies. Cupping glasses are placed on the skin to create a vacuum. This promotes circulation, loosens the muscles, and stimulates detoxification.

How does cupping work?

Cupping is ideal for tension and pain, colds and respiratory illnesses, digestive complaints, or for chronic fatigue and exhaustion.

  • Muscles and connective tissue: Cupping loosens tension and improves the elasticity of the tissue.
  • Lymph flow: It stimulates lymph flow and helps relieve congested tissue.
  • Organs: Through reflex zones on the back, organ functions can also be positively influenced.

What to expect

  1. Initial consultation and case history: We’ll have a detailed conversation to understand your symptoms and goals.
  2. Treatment: We place the cupping glasses precisely on the affected areas and let them work for a few minutes.
  3. Follow-up: We’ll give you tips on how to support the effect of the treatment, for example by drinking enough water or getting light exercise.

Your questions – our answers

Frequently asked questions about eliminative therapies

How does cupping work?

Simply put: cupping creates a vacuum on the skin that promotes circulation, releases tension, and stimulates detoxification. It can also positively influence organ functions through reflex zones.

How long does a cupping treatment take?

Eliminative therapies can be used in different ways, and cupping glasses can be applied in a wide variety of ways. You can work with them for up to 60 minutes, though as a rule the cupping glasses stay in one place for a maximum of 15 minutes. Cupping combines well with other therapeutic methods, which is why we also like to use it during massages in our everyday practice.

Can I also use cupping for prevention?

Yes, cupping is excellent for preventing tension and for supporting the body’s own detoxification; it also supports the body’s regenerative powers and can activate the immune system.

Does cupping hurt?

Cupping can cause a slight pulling or feeling of pressure, but it’s usually not painful. Many people even find the treatment pleasant and relaxing.

What do I need to keep in mind after the treatment?
