Practice & Contact

Our three practice rooms are part of the Health Hub practice community of the Institute for Integrative Naturopathy Zurich

We’re embedded in a diverse team of other naturopaths, nutritional counselors, a psychologist, a child psychiatrist, and massage therapists.

We’re on the third floor of Militärstrasse 90. (Photos from outside)

The entrance to the building is set back slightly. To the right of the glass door, you’ll find the doorbell for our practice community. Please use the bell for Praxisgemeinschaft Health Hub or Zentrum für TEM. We’ll then welcome you on the third floor.

Getting here/Location:

Public transport: You can reach us by public transport from Zürich HB on bus no. 31 to the Kanonengasse stop. The Militär-/Langstrasse bus stop (bus no. 32) is also very close by.
On foot, it’s about a 10-minute walk from Zürich main station.

By car: There are several public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the practice. Within a 2-minute walk, there are two smaller parking garages: the one belonging to the 25h Hotel and the Gull parking garage. Both can be found on Tellstrasse (nos. 43 and 46). The practice has no parking spaces of its own.

Accessibility: Our building (apart from one step at the entrance) and the practice are generally wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, the restrooms are built quite narrow, so people in a wheelchair will likely need assistance when using them. Please let us know in advance if you or your companion would like to visit us with a wheelchair.

What is Traditional European Medicine (TEM)?

Traditional European Medicine (TEM) is a holistic approach rooted in centuries-old knowledge. It combines natural healing methods such as phytotherapy (herbal medicine), manual therapies, nutritional counseling, and eliminative therapies with modern insights from conventional medicine. The goal is to bring body, mind, and soul into harmony and activate the body's self-healing powers.

Who is the Zentrum für TEM right for?

Our services are for anyone who wants to support or restore their health in a natural way. Whether you have acute symptoms, want to manage a chronic condition, or simply want to do something preventive for your well-being — together we'll find the right path for you.

What does a naturopathic consultation look like?

In a naturopathic consultation, we take time for you. We carry out a thorough case history to understand your life situation, symptoms, and goals. Then we develop a personalized treatment plan that may include various approaches such as dietary changes, manual therapies, or herbal remedies. You decide which steps are right for you.

How long does it take before I see the first results?

That depends on your individual situation. Acute symptoms can often be relieved within a few days or weeks, while chronic complaints take more time. We work with gentle, sustainable methods that don't overwhelm your body but strengthen it over the long term.

Can I book my treatment online?

Yes — you'll find booking buttons for all of our services on the website. Simply choose the therapy you'd like and book your appointment easily online. If you're not sure which approach is right for you, feel free to start with a naturopathic consultation.

Do you also offer services for mental and emotional concerns?

Yes — we always look at the whole person. Physical and emotional complaints are often closely connected. With methods such as relaxation massages, nutritional counseling, or phytotherapy, we can also provide support with stress, sleep problems, or emotional strain.

Can I also book individual therapies?

Yes — you can book individual therapies such as massages, nutritional counseling, or cupping, or opt for holistic, ongoing support. That said, we recommend starting with a naturopathic consultation so we can find the best path for you together.

Will the costs be covered by my health insurance?

Our therapists are recognized by most Swiss supplementary insurance providers. Please check in advance whether your insurance will cover the costs of the therapy you choose. You'll find the exact recognitions in each therapist's profile. We accept no liability for incorrect information or for non-reimbursement by your insurance.

Can I arrange a get-to-know-you appointment?

Yes — we offer you the chance to get to know your therapist in a no-obligation, 15-minute initial consultation. That way you can find out whether the chemistry is right and whether we're the right companions for you.

Is the practice wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our practice is wheelchair accessible. However, the restrooms are built narrow, so wheelchair users may need some assistance. Please let us know in advance if you or your companion will be coming with a wheelchair, so we can prepare everything.

What do I do if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Please let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment if you'd like to reschedule or cancel. That way we can offer the appointment to others. For last-minute cancellations, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee.

Can I choose my own therapist?

Yes — you can look at the therapists' profiles on our website and decide who's the best fit for you. If you're not sure, we're happy to help you choose.
